People always ask me 'Do they get along?' And I always hesitate with my answer because 'get along'? They are inseparable. They play and wrestle like pound puppies, rise and shine together, eat their meals together, bathe together and then on the turn of a dime are trying to destroy whatever toy the other loves, trying to push or punch each other, constantly vying for their parents attention, and always exaggerating each others offenses...It's high drama being brothers. From the complete steadfast dedication and companionship, to the brutal competition and jealousies that inevitably arise. But, those moments where they are just laughing- together in a naughty plan or playing with Jazz or enjoying a yummy dessert or running just to run...those moments are what it's all about.
From Los Angeles to Marin, Marin back to LA, and now down to Wellington, NZ, this family blog is filling up with adventures. We are a family of four migrating across the world, embracing adventure and holding each other close.

Brother
"Townsend! You need to share with your brother!" "Quincy! No pushing your brother!" "Townie- please help your brother put his toys away." "Quincy, are you ready to go get your brother from school?" Brother, brother, brother, brother. We must say this word 100's of times a day. So much so, in Quincy's small vocabulary, the word "Bruh-bah" is a stand out. He sees Townie (who he also calls Tah-Tah)and smiles and says in his husky little voice, "BRUH-BAH!" And Townie, who talks to Quincy incessantly, says things like "that's wight, wittle brovah" or "here ya go, wittle brovah!" Or our fav, when they are high five-ing or pounding their fists together, Townie's boisterous "POUND IT OUT, BROVAH!!" And Quincy just lights up and presses his fist to his brother's, back and forth, with utter glee.
